Vietnam War

I am doing my NHD project on the Vietnam War. Hung Vuong founded the Vietnam in the 2879 B.C. I choose this topic because I am trying to teach people about the Vietnam War and also learn about the war myself. The Vietnam War was the first war that America has lost. I also picked the Vietnam War because I want to show people the history behind the Vietnam War. The Vietnamese are the descendants of the nomadic Mongols from china and migrants from Indonesia. Chin a ruled the nation. The Chairmen is known as Viet or a Vassal of the state from 111 B.C., until the 15-century. In the 15 century an era of the nationalistic expansion accrued, because the Cambodians were pushed out of the southern area of the Vietnam. A century later, the Portuguese were the first Europeans to enter the area. France established its influence early in the 19th century. 80 years later they conquered three regions into which the country was then divided in Cochin-Cochin-China in the south, Annam in central regions, and Tonkin in the north. France first unified Vietnam in 1887, when a single governor-generalship was created, followed by the first physical links between north and south. (A rail road system) at the beginning of World War 2, there were internal differences among the three regions. Japan took over military bases in Vietnam in 1940, and pro- Vicky French administion remained until 1945. Back then the Americans and the Vietnamese were fighting a war with each other. The conflict is the United States and Vietnam fought against each other. The Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) and the Democratic Republic (North Vietnam) were fighting for democracy; so the United States sent troops to support the South Vietnam. The compromise was in the end the Vietnamese won the war. And now America and Vietnam are friends.
